Draw vs. Paint

Drawing programs create images composed of objects (e.g shapes, squares). The objects can have properties such as colour, line thickness. These objects can be edited, changed shape and easily edited etc.
Drawing programs create vector files.
E.g -Word

Paint programs create images pixel by pixel. There are no objects, it only knows what it is pixel by pixel. It is hard to edit, the only way to edit it is to create a different pixel. Paint progrmas create BitMapped files.
