We are planning our video, making a storyboard. We are also still experimenting with different cameras, and choosing what camera angles to do.We choose to use my camera, my phones camera and kates camera. The more cameras we use, the more camera angles we can take without re-doing the scene.
Here is a camera angle we like, and may use.

Group Assessment Post 1
This is the first post in my blog about our assessment.
The people in my group are:
Our film tells the different journey that a coin goes through, it will show the passing and loosing of this coin. The point of our video is to inform the viewer that you never know where something has been. It is our story of how a coin travels through different hands and has been through a lot in its 'life' as it rolls through rain, dirt, gets stuck on someones shoe etc. Hopefully we will come up with different situations the coin is present in..
Last lesson we experimented with the different video cameras avalible in class, this lesson i brought my camera to test out the quality compared to the ones avaliable in class, to choose which camera to use for the assessment.
The people in my group are:
- Aishwarya Venkatesan
- Kate Flower-Donaldson
- Angela Arora

Broadband and Bandwidth
What is broadband ?
Using signals over a wide range of frequencies in high-capacity telecommunications, esp. as used for access to the Internet.
What units are used to measure bandwidth ?
Bandwidth is measured by bit
How much faster is broadband than dial up ?
Standard broadband is 512kb and is 10 times faster than dial-up that is just 56k
Standard broadband operates 512kb while dial-up is 56kb
What are some of the advantages of using a broadband connection to download something like a video compared to dial up ?
It will take less time to download beacause it allows more data to flow through, making it faster as more data is coming through.
Create an image in paint that illustrates how a high bandwidth connection can move more data compared to a dial-up connection at a given time.
As you can see the funnel with the smaller capacity allows less 'data' flowing out. While the funnel with the LARGER funnel is allowing more data to flow out. Yet the data is travelling at the same speed.
How many people subscribe to the internet in 2007? How many of these were for business use ? How many for homes use ?
There is no number of subscription in 2007, but they have December 2009. In dec, 2009, 8195 people subscribed to internet. With 1629 people using it for business use and 7322 people used it for home use.
Look at the access technologies heading. How many more people are using broadband since 2005 ? Remember that you have to add 000 to the numbers
There isnt any heading with "Access Technologies"
What is the speed of the connection from your computer to the Sydney location on the map ?
The speed of the 'Ping' is 58ms
Download speed : .56mbps
Upload Speed : .66mbps
